The Real Albergo dei Poveri reopens for ten days with free performances on the terrace, in the courtyard and in the auditorium: it opens on the 6th with Armando Punzo's play Fame (Hunger), on the 7th there's a concert by Lucariello with the voices of the young people from Nisida, and it closes on the 16th with Giorgina Pi. This is the huge palazzo on piazza Carlo III, closed for decades: worth going just to get inside. Entry is free while places last, so arrive half an hour early.
