Pompeii by night: the excavations open after dark

Every Friday and Saturday until 10 October the park's sites open from 7.30pm to 11.30pm. At Pompeii there are two routes: from the Amphitheatre, taking in the body casts at the Great Palestra and the house of Julia Felix, on 19 and 26 September and 10 October; or the Villa of the Mysteries, with a shuttle to Villa Regina in Boscoreale. The walks at Villa San Marco and Villa Arianna are free.

Tickets: €7 per site. It runs for 44 days, so you have until Saturday 10 October, though weekends are the busiest.
