A ten-kilometre race on a city circuit in Terzigno, on Vesuvius's southern slope, with the volcano in view the whole way round. Sign up on icron, capped at six hundred places, you'll need a running licence or medical certificate. From Naples, take the Circumvesuviana Poggiomarino line to Terzigno.
