Angelica Kauffmann and Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun, the two best-paid painters in Europe at the end of the eighteenth century, side by side in the palazzo on via Toledo: court portraits, self-portraits and the Neapolitan works Vigée Le Brun painted here, including Queen Maria Carolina. The show takes about an hour and a half, then coffee on the ground floor. On December weekends, go in at 10am, before via Toledo gets impossible.
