Old town
Apron and hat + your pizza and tiramisù
Most popular · 3 hours
A three-hour class near Via Duomo where you make the two things everyone wants to learn in Naples: pizza and tiramisù. You start from the flour, knead by hand, stretch the dough and bake it in a traditional oven; then you move on to dessert, layer by layer. You eat what you’ve made, with a starter and a drink included, and go home with the written recipes.

You start with the pizza. The chef shows how Neapolitan dough is made from the basic ingredients, then everyone works their own ball of dough: kneading, stretching it by hand, adding the toppings. It’s baked in the traditional oven, and what comes out is your pizza, to eat there and then with the included starter and drink.
The second part is the tiramisù, followed step by step: you make the cream, dip the biscuits, build the layers. At the end everyone has their own dessert. You get the pizza and tiramisù recipes to make them again at home. The class runs in English, Spanish, French or Italian depending on your booking, and lasts about three hours.
Good for couples, groups of friends and families with children who want to get their hands dirty. Groups can reach thirty people, so don’t expect a private lesson: if you want more attention, look for a smaller class. It’s three hours on your feet, so better not to schedule it after a full day of walking.
Local tip
Treat it as a meal: you eat a starter, pizza and tiramisù, so skip lunch beforehand. Wear clothes that can get floury. The kitchen is near Via Duomo: beforehand you can see the Duomo and the Chapel of San Gennaro, or wander down San Gregorio Armeno, a few minutes away.
Starter + drink + recipes to take home.
