Naples, 6-8 November: Bolero at the San Carlo, the Creattiva craft fair in Fuorigrotta, a Spanish Quarters walk and Napoli-Lazio at the Maradona stadium.
The weekend of 6, 7 and 8 November splits between Fuorigrotta and the historic centre. In Fuorigrotta, the Mostra d'Oltremare hosts the Creattiva craft fair and the free Italian Urban Games side by side, while downtown runs on Bolero at the San Carlo, two guided walks through the Spanish Quarters and the Sanità district, and Sunday's Napoli-Lazio match at the Maradona stadium. The page that updates every morning stays this weekend.
Short on time? Start with these:
- Bolero at the Teatro di San Carlo: three ballets in one evening, from Stravinsky's Rite of Spring to Ravel's Boléro, Friday at 19:00, Saturday at 20:00, Sunday at 17:00.
- Creattiva Napoli at the Mostra d'Oltremare: four days of craft workshops, a cheaper ticket online and free entry under age ten.
- Spanish Quarters walking tour with Insolitaguida, Saturday morning from the murals to the Pignasecca market, with a street-food taste included.
- Angelica and Élisabeth opens at the Gallerie d'Italia: the two best-paid female painters in 18th-century Europe, portraits side by side on via Toledo.
- Sunday at 15:00, Napoli-Lazio at the Maradona stadium: after the final whistle the Campi Flegrei metro station fills up fast.
Fuorigrotta: a craft fair and free urban sport
From Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November the Mostra d'Oltremare runs two events at once. Halls 5 and 6 host Creattiva Napoli, four days of workshops on sewing and DIY crafts, open from 10:00 to 19:00 (18:00 on Sunday), with tickets at 10 euros online and 12 on site, a discounted happy hour after 17:00 on the first three days, and free entry under age ten. Over the same days, in different parts of the city, the city council runs the Italian Urban Games, four days of free skateboarding, parkour and urban sport from 8:30 to 17:00: the schedule changes daily, so check the council's website before heading out. For a proper run, there's an option out of town: Sunday morning the Terzigno Corre race starts on the south side of Vesuvius, ten kilometres on a city circuit with the volcano always in view, 10 euros with a medical certificate or running licence.
At the theatre: Bolero, Catalan dance and Peppe Barra
The Teatro di San Carlo keeps Bolero on through Tuesday, three ballets in a single evening: Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, Preludes set to Rachmaninov, and Béjart's Boléro to Ravel's score, which closes the show. Friday starts at 19:00, Saturday at 20:00, Sunday at 17:00. At the Bellini, the Catalan company La Veronal brings La mort i la primavera, based on the novel by Mercè Rodoreda: only three performances, Friday at 20:45, Saturday at 19:00, Sunday at 18:00. At the Mostra d'Oltremare's Teatro Mediterraneo, Peppe Barra performs his recital of songs and storytelling for three nights, with Sunday's show starting earlier, at 18:00. For something smaller, the Lutheran Church on via Poerio hosts a quartet from the Mercadante Ensemble playing Mozart and Beethoven on Saturday, in one of the most intimate chamber-music spaces in the city.
Spanish Quarters and Sanità, two walks
On Saturday morning, Insolitaguida leads a walk through the Spanish Quarters, two hours from the square by Pizzeria Brandi down to the Pignasecca market, passing the Maradona mural, with coffee and a cone of fried street food included in the 15-euro price. On Sunday the same guide runs a walk through the Sanità district, from Porta San Gennaro to Palazzo dello Spagnolo, finishing with a fiocco di neve pastry from Poppella. For an evening option, Napoli Esoterica with De Rebus Neapolis runs an evening tour between Gesù Nuovo and Santa Chiara, available both Saturday and Sunday.
With kids
At the Teatro Bellini, Saturday at 16:30, Alessio Ferrara lets kids aged 7 and up try circus equipment over ninety minutes, 15 euros per child. At the Catacombs of San Gennaro, also Saturday from 16:30, kids aged 6 to 10 become archaeologists for a day with a guided visit followed by a real dig, 16 euros plus 6 for the accompanying adult. Sunday also marks the start of Flow & Fly, the free circus and hip hop festival that tours the parks of Soccavo and Pianura through 6 December: dress comfortably, as it changes park almost every weekend.
A weekend of markets: Mercadante, Posillipo, Bovio and Agnano
On Saturday morning, from 8:30 to 13:30, Campagna Amica farmers set up stalls in piazza Mercadante, on corso Vittorio Emanuele, and in the small square in Posillipo: fruit, buffalo mozzarella, honey and wine, handy for stocking up before heading down to Marechiaro. On Sunday the same kind of market moves to piazza Bovio, close to the port, while at the Agnano racetrack the antiques market opens as early as 6:00 with more than two hundred stalls: the good pieces go by 9:00, so it pays to arrive early with cash.
Sunday: Napoli-Lazio and a free concert
At 11:30 the Filangieri Museum hosts a short free baroque concert included with the museum ticket, the Convivio Armonico. In the afternoon, at 15:00, it's Napoli-Lazio at the Maradona stadium: if you're not in a hurry, it's worth grabbing a bite in Fuorigrotta before heading back on the Campi Flegrei metro, which fills up fast after the final whistle.
With so many theatres running at once and two different neighbourhood walks on offer, the map of Naples helps make sense of what's near what. The whole month is covered in Things to do in Naples in November 2026 and in the guide to exhibitions open through January; for any other date, Things to do in Naples shows bookable events and experiences day by day.
For the rest of your stay: things to do in Naples today, this weekend and in the days ahead, checked every morning.
