Naples pizza and tiramisù cooking class with a wood-fired oven
Old town
Apron and hat + your pizza and tiramisù
For everyone · 2.5 hours
A two-and-a-half-hour class near Via Medina, designed for anyone who wants to make pizza at home for real: not in a wood-fired oven, but in the ruoto, the round baking tin Neapolitan families use, baked in a home oven. You knead, stretch and bake, then make tiramisù with mascarpone. Fifteen people at most, apron and digital recipe book included, and you can leave your suitcase.

Start
Via Medina
You start with the dough: the chef explains the proportions and the technique, then everyone works their own. You stretch it into the ruoto and bake it in a home oven, so what you learn can be repeated without special equipment. Meanwhile you have the starter and something to drink; there’s an option with unlimited wine.
The second part is the tiramisù: mascarpone cream, biscuits and coffee, built up in layers. At the end everyone eats their own pizza and dessert, taking their time. The digital recipe book lets you make it all again at home. Allergies and intolerances must be mentioned when booking.
Good for anyone who already cooks a bit and wants to take home a useful technique, and for families and couples looking for an afternoon without much walking. The group is small, fifteen at most. Handy on your last day too, before the train: you can leave your luggage. Not for anyone after wood-fired pizza.
Local tip
Via Medina is a stone’s throw from the Maschio Angioino and Piazza Municipio: pair the class with a visit to the castle or the port. Arrive hungry, because between starter, pizza and tiramisù it’s a full meal. If you have an afternoon train, make use of the luggage storage.

Apron, ingredients, starter and a drink, the digital recipe book and luggage storage. There’s an option with unlimited wine. You eat the pizza and tiramisù you make during the class, so it counts as a meal.
The class lasts about two and a half hours, in a group of up to fifteen people led by a local chef. It runs in Italian, English, Spanish or French, chosen when booking.
Yes: allergies and intolerances must be flagged when booking, as the operator requests. Cancellation is free up to 24 hours before the class starts.
