What you’ll do
The meeting point is Piazza del Gesù or outside the Archaeological Museum, depending on the option you booked. From there you start with an introduction to the city’s history and walk towards the main squares and streets of the centre, with the guide stopping to tell stories in front of the monuments and answering questions.
The route takes in Piazza del Plebiscito, the long straight line of Spaccanapoli with its side lanes, and the Duomo, inside the UNESCO-listed historic centre. Between stops you pass through street markets and see the everyday life of the neighbourhoods. After about three hours the tour ends in the centre.
